Biography

Griffin Brinda is a driven Industrial Design graduate from the University of Cincinnati DAAP, currently working in the San Francisco bay area. Griffin has cultivated a skill set aimed at crafting design solutions that resonate with users while incorporating market trends, new technology, manufacturing and visualization processes.

During his tenure as an Industrial Design Intern at Unbox Product Design in San Francisco, Griffin immersed himself in the realm of new product innovation and design engineering. Collaborating seamlessly with a dynamic team, he tackled diverse projects spanning consumer goods, commercial ventures, and medical devices. His role involved not only solving industry challenges but also addressing user needs and social environmental impacts, all while considering optimal manufacturing methods.

At SIG SAUER, Inc., Griffin delved into the world of firearms design, contributing significantly to the development of cutting-edge products. From concept ideation to realization, he played a pivotal role in creating designs that seamlessly merged the brand identities of both SIG SAUER and third-party retailers. Leveraging his expertise in 3D modeling and prototyping, he navigated the intricacies of product development, ensuring that designs met both functional requirements and aesthetic standards.

My Origin Story

I am from the San Francisco Bay area, nestled in beautiful northern California. Growing up, my days were steeped in outdoor adventures, fostering a profound connection with nature that ignited my creative spirit. Raised by parents immersed in the Arts, I developed a unique perspective from an early age, shaping my perception of the world. As the years unfolded, my love of the arts flourished, paving the way for my journey into Industrial Design. Approaching each project with creativity and commitment to exploration, I allow designs to evolve organically. Fueled by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, I pursue continual growth, equipping myself with an extensive arsenal of skills to articulate my vision with precision and passion.
